![This is my new favorite album. It’s Mayer Hawthorne’s Strange Arrangement. I had been hearing a lot about it through the internets, and finally got around to listening to it this morning. The [unexpected] result….. it was on repeat all day. Seriously.
It’s of the Funk/ Jazz/ Soul variety, and if I hadn’t known about this guy (from Michigan’s own Ann Arbor), I would think that it was made in the 70’s. Very refreshing.
