Chill Mode Mix Vol. 2
So yesterday I came across Djay, which is a dj app for the Mac. Having dj’ed back in college, I’m immediately skeptical of these types of apps. But this one is pretty decent. It was pretty easy to get the hang of, so I quickly started making some mixes. My only gripe is not being able to hear your qeued up songs, so I had to mix, and adjust BPM on the fly. Chill Mode Mix Vol. 2 by jwphillips This mix is pretty laid back, mostly underground hip hop instrumentals. Good for background work tunes. It’s not the ideal full-dj setup that I used to have, but I don’t need anything complex. Just something to mix music with that’s better than a mouse. And I really don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on turntables and records again.
