I’m certain there’s a sensible feature request based on this complaint, like “Please don’t show me tweets contain RT or @” or maybe a feature to put someone you follow on Twitter time-out during that weekend drinking binge where they won’t shut up about their ex-girlfriend. Yes, these features could be added to the base platform, but why complicate a feature you already have? You unfollow. It’s brutally simple and it solves the problem.
A Twitter Decision is a good post. People should never complain about spamming, because you can just unfollow people, or not auto-follow every person that follows you. This is a no brainer on one of the easier services to use on the internet. More on how I use Twitter.
